Summer

Children attend West End Center all day in the summer. In addition to continuing with the After School Program activities (Reading, Life Skills, Social Competence, and Fitness and Nutrition), the long days allow time for a greater variety of enrichment activities and recreation. Children swim most afternoons. Field trips are planned weekly. A much anticipated trip each year is a day at Fairystone Park. Children also have the opportunity to attend a week of camp at Apple Ridge Farm.
